ePolicy Orchestrator automated emails

Jump to solution

I started to maintain company wich uses mcafee / epol and I have no previous experience of #epolicy orchestor#

It generates automated emails from several places and I need to change all the email addresses.

I have changed email address to two places, so that 8 of 13 automated messages goes to right email address, but these five remains mystery for a me.

Host IPS Client Versions
Host IPS Content Versions
VSE DAT Deployment
VSE Engine Deployment
VSE Threat Names Detected per Week

I have undestand that these are queries, but I can't found a place to change email address of them.

Queries, by themselves, have no setting for any email addresses, as they just run a query.  It would need to be in some type of automated report that is being run via a server task or automatic response.  I would check each task and response closer, as sometimes server tasks have secondary actions that may not be obvious by the task name and description.

I should have mention, that those two, wich I already found is server task and automated response.

I think that these five are queris, but I'm out of luck to find how to edit email settings of them.

OK, thanks

There is only one automated response enabled/ in use.

So it must be server task. There was queries wich was named exactly like these mails.

It was a secondary task of one of task wich I fixed already.

Thanks.
