ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10 Software Catalog Portal monitor showing old versions

This has been bugging me since we upgraded our older 5.x. In ePO 5.10 (we are running update 7) I have the Software Catalog Portal monitor on my dashboard. It gives a nice overview of checked-in software. But.. it keeps telling me that we have older Agents checked in. This is not the case. In fact when I click on the older version (say 4.8) it will say in the actually Software Catalog that it hasn't been checked in.

I can't seem to edit this particular monitor.

Does anyone know how to fix this so that it wil only show the actual checked-in software?

Included is a picture of what I'm seeing. Versions 4.8,5.0 and 5.5 are not checked in when checking the Software Catalog.

Run this query in sql and see what it returns.

select productversion from epomastercatalog where ProductName like '%McAfee Agent%'

Also, what is the name of the underlying query that the dashboard is running?

The sql query comes back with a two line table:

     productversion
1   5.65
2   5.65

Also I can't see the underlying query. I use the builtin ePO Software Catalog Portal monitor and that can't be edited (to my knowledge). The downarrow on the monitor itself only has "Refresh" and "Remove Monitor". The picture is after I select "Add Monitor" from the Dashboard.

I suspect  this may be because of browser cache issue. Please clear browser cache/delete temp files/cookies or try with different browser.

No, that is definitely not the problem. I've used several browsers, ran it on different machines and this has been going on for over a year now, ever since we upgraded from 5.9x to 5.10. It's just with update 7 I thought I'd finally post it to see if there is a solution. Maybe some old remnants are left behind in the database as it was an in-place upgrade.

I see the same thing on mine.  So, I would suggest opening a ticket with McAfee so we can get this to dev and see what is going on.  Please send me private msg of your SR number when you get one opened.

@cdinet I sent you a PM. MER is running now and I'll add the results to the ticket when it's done. But I cannot find the MVT tool in the Tools section.

You don't need mvt tool, and I don't believe it is being maintained any longer - at least not that I am aware of.

Re: ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10 Software Catalog Portal monitor showing old versions

Problem was solved by logging a ticket. They sent me 2 files related to SoftwareMgmt.jar and after applying those, the Dashboard doesn't show the old non-checkedin versions anymore.
