ePo SQL DB User change

Hi,

we are currently using sa user in SQL for ePo application. We want to disable sa user and use other sql user to connect to ePo application.

 

what is process to connect ePo app with new user ?

here are the steps:

1. create a new user in SQL with the permissions defined on the article:
https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB75766

2. once the user is created, on your ePO server navigate to the core config page (adjust the name of your server or IP):

https://nameofyourePO:8443/core/config-auth

3. on this page fill up the new user name and password details and ensure the "test connection" is successful.

4. if a successful test is done, restart all 3 ePO services
