ePO user cannot see shared queries

Dear All,

we are running ePO 5.10 upd 9 on prem. I am trying to create a permisison set that basically allows a user to view, run, create and edit shared queries. For this, I have added the privelege "Edit public groups; create and edit private queries/reports; make private queries/reports public." to the permission set. Since the query, that the target user is most interested in pertains to DLP, I also added also the below rights, for DLP which should not even be necessary.

Operational task: email (True), purge (True), set reviewer (True)
Operational reviewer: user can view all operational events

These are the only permissions added to the set. However, the user that gets the permission set assigned is not able to see all queries in the Shared Queries group. The permissions on this group as well as the permissions on the sub groups are NOT restricted to specific permission sets. When I log on as admin and create a new query, which is then saved into the the SHared Queries group, the user still cannot see it.

In the Shared Queries view, the admin can see 36 queries while the restricted user can only see 6

Any help would be welcome

Re: ePO user cannot see shared queries

Did you check the audit log?  That might give some indication of missing rights.

I checked the log but there is nothing there that could be useful, just log on and log off events and the like.

Re: ePO user cannot see shared queries

The orion log under server\logs where epo is installed might show something.  What are the queries for - only dlp?  Does the user only have permission to certain system tree locations?

Re: ePO user cannot see shared queries

haven't checke the orion log yet. But, does the user need access to the system tree at all in order to be able to run / edit queries? this user does not have access to the system tree at all.

Re: ePO user cannot see shared queries

Yes, if the queries reference any systems at all, which events would.
