ePO db upgrade

Regarding ePO upgrade from 5.9.1 to 5.10, what is the minimum DB free disk space required before the upgrade? What is the recommendation for DB, db on same server as the ePO installed server or a separate server setup for db? Note: we are managing about 1150 endpoints from the ePO

Re: ePO db upgrade

the suggestion is twice the current size, please see the article below:

What is the minimum hard drive space needed to upgrade an ePO database to a new version of ePO?

The minimum hard drive space needed depends on the size of the ePO database. A safe estimate is about twice the size of your current ePO database. An upgrade requires a large amount of transaction log space that is used during the upgrade to hold a copy of the EPOEvents table (typically the largest table in an ePO database). Make sure that the transaction log is allowed to grow to a size at least as large as the EPOEvents table.

On top of this we strongly recommend you to use the preinstall auditor as it will highlight and advice you about possible issues and how to fix them:
