ePO Active Directory Sync Undo?

We would like to shift from the ePO directory structure that we had under 3.6.1 and use the much better sounding AD sync options of ePO 4.0. *BUT* we're required to have a back out plan.

So -- how would we "undo" the changes from a sync with AD?

and the back out plan is restor the DB backup
