I've been cruising through the discussions here and see a lot of comments against upgrading to ePO 5.9.
With that in mind, is there another solution to accommodate VSE Patch 9 for the Windows 10 Anniversary Update? The patch notes do not include ePO 5.3.2 on the compatible list.

Patch 8 supports the anniversary update, patch 9 the Creators update: McAfee Corporate KB - REDIRECTED - Incompatibility between the Windows 10 Anniversary Update and mul...
I would doubt there's an issue on 5.3.2 as that is a minor upgrade but i see what you mean...its not in the list...
If its available in software manager then i would assume its compatible
there's also nothing in the known issues doc about 5.3.2
Would be good if someone could clarify please...
I just asked our McAfee support and their reply was this:
Please note that the list of products in the release notes lists the product versions VirusScan Enterprise Patch 9 has been extensively tested with. Please note that McAfee ePO 5.3.2 is not listed in the initial release notes for VSE Patch 8 too. However it was added to the official KB articles on a later date. Since 5.3.1 and 5.3.2 are very similar releases there shouldn't be any issues.
Since VSE Patch 9 is relatively new, we assume the information is not yet updated. If you'd like reassurance before your implementation we would recommend waiting for few more days until McAfee updates it's KB articles.
