Good find, but jeez this is pretty poor if true. Is it just me, or am I getting a repeat vibe of what we went through with VSE 8.8 Patch 4, where it was released months and months and months after first mentioned?
Any comments from an "in-the-know" McAfee rep here would be appreciated.
Reading the notification again - I don't understand what you are asking? You don't need 5.1.2 to resolve this problem - there are many versions available right now which resolve it?
The article mentions 5.1.2 as NOT AFFECTED. It's not the solution?
I know it is not listed as the only version to fix the issue, but why list it at all if it is not available now or even in the very near future?
I thought listing it might be a sign that the release was imminent and then I would just wait for it and install that version rather than one of the other versions plus separate hotfix.
Is the also listed 4.6.9 available or coming very soon either?
