ePO 4.0 Installation Doubt

HI there guys.

I'm about to install ePO 4.0 in a new fresh server, on the other hand I still got the 3.6.x console runing in another server which is the console I use at the moment, having said that, my doubt is.

When I install the new console, will I be able to see the clients installed in the already installed machines as managed clients or will I have to reinstall the client from the new console in order to manage them withing the new fresh ePO 40 console?

Thanks for your time and support.
Best Regards.

RE: ePO 4.0 Installation Doubt

The clients are reporting to EPO3. You will need to reinstall the agent from EPO4 which will make them report to the new server.

RE: ePO 4.0 Installation Doubt

This raises another question : do I have a means from the EPO-3 server to install the agent for the EPO-4 server ? (Hint, we're not using Active Directory here...:()

thanks
Serge
