At the console I see the following error and when I log into ePO 5.10 w/update 3 I get the error "an unexpected error occurred." Anyone knows what this is? com.mcafee.orion.core.ext.ExtensionInstallerRuntimeException: a database error occurred

What extensions might have been installed recently (or attempted to be installed)?  What changed and when did issue start?  Does it connect to the database ok?

I am not sure when the problem started or what if anything changed but I noticed it today. When I check the extensions, for the repository management I see the error in red "Repository Management Error details:
EPORepository does not contain a valid master repository.

Obviously, something happened.  You have 2 options at this point - one or the other, but may need both. 

1. Call into support and see if we can figure out what went wrong

2. Perform a disaster recovery (kb66616 - preferably snapshot recovery option) from a time when you are sure it was functioning properly.

Rebooting the DB server fixed the problem.
