Re: client unable to update (No package received from ePO Server)

I'm sorry, but you'll need to give us more details than this... what is the problem? What you have posted here is a perfectly normal set of agent log entries...

Thanks -

Re: client unable to update (No package received from ePO Server)

Thanks

The "No package received from server" is an informational message, and it's completely normal - it does not indicate a problem.

If you have a machine that's failing to update the DATs, for example, the first place to look is in the mcscript.log on the client machine itself - this is where the details of update tasks will be recorded.

Re: client unable to update (No package received from ePO Server)

The main errors here are these:

UpdatePlugin      QI:failed on McAfeePointProduct Update Plugin Interface:{9BE8D8A1-2DB5-4A29-A95F-50C8B27820DA}

ScrptMgr    Error occurred while getting point product callback component interface.

Essentially this is the agent saying that it is unable to communicate with the point product. I suspect that there may have been a problem during the installation of the point product - the easiest approach to start with is to completely uninstall VSE and the agent, reboot, and then reinstall.

HTH -

Joe
