cannot run wake up agent to endpoints

if i run a wake up task to endpoints it fails almost immediately however some endpoints in the same group, same ip range etc work fine they all have the same agent installed what could be the cause for some to fail and others to work th e endpoints are built of the same image epo ver. 5.10 update 8 thks sheldon

issue is now resolved

 

I had to generate new apache certs for data channel comms to work

once I had done that , I could wake up endpoints again

Hello @shed 

Thanks for your post.

I would like to request you to please check the server.log which would be available at the below location (By default):

C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\DB\Logs

Also please make sure that machine is not connected through VPN.

Wake-Up agent will not work if the machine is connected through VPN:

Would suggest to look at server log (\ePO\DB\logs) and search with machine name for whom we are sending wakeup call.
