What's the difference between the McAfee Agent monitor using cmdagent /s and bringing it up from the systray?
What is the difference between launching the McAfee Agent monitor GUI from the command line using the /S option or launching it by right clicking on the systray icon and selecting "McAfee Agent Status Monitor".
I was always told to use the /S option for trouble shooting but I just noticed we can bring it up from the Systray icon. It looks the exact same to me.

No difference at all - they both do the same thing. cmdagent /s is more normally used on machines where the tray icon is not displayed, either because of the agent policy, or because it's being accessed via RDP.
