Upgrading from Agent 4.8 to 5.0.6 with VSE Patch 9 Installed

Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade our Agent 4.8 estate to Agent 5.0.6 and we currently have VSE patch 9 deployed.  I was researching the upgrade process and came across KB article KB87328 which advises upgrading to Agent 5.0.6 before installing VSE patch 9. 

Has anyone got any mileage on upgrading from a 4.8 agent to 5.0.6 with VSE patch 9 installed?  If so, did you encounter problems?

From the KB you mentioned, if a system is at patch 7 or lower, it is recommended to upgrade to p9 after you upgrade the agent.  However, p8 and above is ok to upgrade the agent.  Please test in your environment first as with any patch or version upgrades.
