Upgrade Assistant

Message: You are not authorized for this operation. I think this started when I downloaded Upgrade Assistant 10.7 When trying to run the Upgrade pre-check or Health Status, it locks up with no response.

Re: Upgrade Assistant

Hello @User61779894

Thanks for your post.

Couple of things:

1) After getting the error, Please check the Orion.log

2) What is the version of Endpoint Upgrade Assistant:2.9 or different version?

3) You need to open a new Service Request with Support and let me know the Service Request number. It seems we need to open a Bug and get a POC for you.

All the above point will get cleared once the Service Request gets opened and able to identify the errors.

You can send me the Orion.log over Personal Message.

Re: Upgrade Assistant

If you can answer all of what Vivs asked please and I'll add an ask to verify:

What 'user' you are logged in with when you try to perform the operation please?

Re: Upgrade Assistant

We had this same issue after installing Upgrade Assistant. It was resolved after a restart of McAfee services

Re: Upgrade Assistant

Yes!
That can work as well as old data (cache) is flushed and new data(cache) is added to the system during the restart!
