Hello
I have been trying to upgrade McAfee Agent on two of one of my system from version
5.6.6.232 to 5.7.2.162 through ePO which state that the task is completed without any error.
When checking the version installed on the system, the version remain the same.
I tried to manually install the agent using C:\Windows\FramePkg.exe, however I get "Fatal Error During Installation".
My System is running Windows 10 version 1709. With disabled Firewall.
Followed these solution but didn't work

There is no attachment, but the log to look at would be the corresponding agent msi log. Look for return value and anything other than 0 or 1 would be of interest (typically you would see return value 3)

Thanks for your reply. I have attached the log in this reply.
Note that log was obtained from (C:\Windows\Temp\McAfeeLogs). I am not sure if this log is the agent msi log or not.
There Another log file in the same location with the name of MFEagent.msi.2021.05.10.XXXX.log which only have the below line
MSI (c) (2C:54) [14:09:57:001]: MainEngineThread is returning 1603
I Also found another log file which might give some idea of the issue. The log was found on %temp%\McAfeeLogs
Those logs were not helpful, as you noticed. I would suggest first remove any remnants of any agent install - remove the existing agent completely, then reboot and see if you get same error. If you do, then please open a ticket with McAfee.
