I've created a forum post in the HIPS forum so fingers crossed! No replies as yet but it's early days.

I'll let you know what the resolution was.

Hi Caryn,

Just wanted to update you on that issue with the Win 7 laptop which refused to upgrade to HIPS 8 P12.

I removed the existing version using a standard remove tag (very quick) and applied the tag to deploy HIPS 8 P12 and it too was fairly quick at this.

No need to interrogate the logs any further I guess!
