There is no [Windows authetication] setting in [Sever Settings].

My ePO version is 4.5 Patch3.

In ePO console, there is no [Windows authentication] in [Menu]-[Configuration]-[Server Settings].

Do anyone find why [Windows authentication] settings doesn't apeear?

It depends on ePO version?

You need to register LDAP servers to get the windows authentication menu option.

Follow the instructions on page 37 of the ePO 4.5 Product guide: Configuring Windows authentication and authorization as there are other steps required before you add servers.

Did you follow the instructions and rename the WinAuth.dll before you added the server?

I didn't rename WinAuth.dll to WinAuth.bak yet.(C:\Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\Server\bin)

And Master Repository are following.

According to my ePO situcation, you think it is natural that there is no [Windows authentication] setting, right?

Yes- i seem to remember when i setup my server that setting doesn't exist until you rename the dll etc.

I however, did it in sequence following the instructions, so I'm not sure if doing this once you added LDAP servers already will have a negative effect.

Maybe one of the prodcut specialist can lead some knowledge?
