The message could not be sent because a connection could not be established with the SMTP server


I've migrated McAfee EPO server and everything is fine, except for mail alerts. Although the connection is not being blocked by the firewall (neither windows firewall nor corporate one), the

server says it cannot contact it.

Server information is OK, since it's the same I've been using for my previous server.

Besides, I've monitored the connection from the server to the mail server with WireShark, and the TCP connection is succesfully, meaning that the SMTP server was actually contacted

and it answered in a correct manner.

I'm using McAfee ePO 5.3 running in Windows 2012 R2.

I'm running out of ideas.

Any help?
