Super Agent failing

Jump to solution

Super Agent is failing due to the below error. network is good. We have validated that.

We have 4 other super agent in different data centers and they are replicating without any issues.

Failed to upload file Previous\ENDP_AM_1060\Install\0000\McAfee_Threat_Prevention_x64.msi to site  error code 10054 ( An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Copied the entire directory from another Super agent and pasted on the the server that was failing. Now, incremental replication is working fine.

We need to look macmnsvc log on the client machine (matching the time stamp) when it's failed. If possible, please reboot the client machine and run replication task.

Its failing this step.

Rebooted the server

completely removed the policy and deleted the root directory and tried again. Still the same.

Failed to upload file Evaluation\ENDP_AM_1060\Install\0000\McAfee_Threat_Prevention_x86.msi to site

Re: Super Agent failing

Is there any difference between that SA repo server and the others that are working, such as network location/firewall?  Did you check the macmnsvc log on the superagent system to see if there were errors processing files?

Logs are located in c:\programdata\mcafee\agent\logs.
