I don't know what the fixes are right now.  The bug that is open for your issue has no solution info in it yet, so I can't say that it does.

Time is most valuable asset in these century, yesterday i have been on AFCEA conference and one of lectors say:

 Humans is too slow to understand and react in computer world related attacks.

That we need machine learning and decisions, to be a competitive in cyber world war.

The fix for not being able to modify the policies will be pushed out to the cloud Dec. 18th.
