When I do a query in the Mcafee EPO, it takes a long time to generate the data, no matter if it is a query from the same day that I run the query. My problem is that my session closes automatically before the query is generated, I know there is a default idle time but in my case it does not matter how much I move the mouse the session ends up closing and canceling the query.
Is there a way to extend the idle time or disable this option within the Mcafee EPO.
PS: Another question of mine is why the Mcafee EPO takes so long to generate data from a query from 1 day before or even the same day, could you help me?

First look at what all info it is pulling and if you need that type complexity. Second, I would make sure you are running the reindexing of the database nightly. Third, make sure you are running the latest extensions and updates for epo. DLP had an issue with missing an index, which made things slow, but that was fixed in one of the epo updates for 5.10, so it is imported to keep things up to date.

Hello @MR03
Thanks for your post.
Please refer the below link for increasing the idle time.
for other query you should be checking the Orion.log
if you using ePO 5.10 then please make sure that the latest update which is CU-9 is applied.

You also want to make sure the database isn't highly fragmented - that can increase query runtimes. Additionally, the more complex the query, it can add time to it. KB67184 discusses recommended maintenance for the database, including index re-indexing to reduce fragmentation. I would suggest running that daily or weekly, depending on number of clients you are managing, events coming in, etc.
