Server taks to run bi-weekly with cron syntax

Hello Community,

I'm attempting to run a server task on the first and third Thursday of each month at 09:00 and can see that "cron syntax" is the way of doing this but can't get it to work.

I have tried following the advice on the community article below but get informed the syntax is invalid - any advice much appreciated.

Many thanks

Re: Server taks to run bi-weekly with cron syntax

Would it be possible to split this into several separate server tasks so that the normal ePO scheduler can be used rather than cron syntax ?

Might be easier this way in the long-run.

Just a thought anyway !

Re: Server taks to run bi-weekly with cron syntax

I've been playing with this a bit and sadly I don't think this is possible in a single task. ePO uses the Quartz scheduler syntax, which does not appear to let you specify multiple entries in the "Xth day of the week" field. You might need to set up two tasks, one for the first thursday and one for the third:

0 0 9 ? * 5#1 *

and

0 0 9 ? * 5#3 *

I think that should do it.
