Server deployment option not available under Automation TAB

Hi Team,

I am trying to upgrade McAfee TIE server from 2.3 to 3.0 but  I do not  find Server deployment option under Automation in Main Menu to perform up gradation task. Please find below screenshot of our ePO main menu.

The Server deployment menu will exist if the Extension for it is checked in, do you have it under your extensions? if not you will need to check it in under the Software Manager.

On the other hand, that extension is mean to do an unattended deployment of TIE, you could upgrade your environment starting with an Extension upgrade then using a client task and deploying first the TIE Platform and then the TIE server, starting from the Primary and then other operation modes if any exist on the environment

Thank you for your response . IS it Mandatory to upgrade DXL broker first then TIE

It is not mandatory but we do recommend upgrading first DXL, ensuring is the DXL fabric is healthy and it displays all of your brokers and then we recommend upgrading the TIE environment
