We are trying to do a fresh install of ePO 4.6.2 on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 and when we try to connect to a remote SQL 2008 SP1 DB it says it doesn't have the correct SP. Does anyone have any ideas or would it be best to go through support?

Hi...
Which SP does it say is missing?
Thanks -
Joe
It says we do not have SP1 installed for SQL 2008, but SP1 is listed as being installed on the server.
Kent M
Ah! Sorry, by SP I thought you meant Stored Procedure
Can you run SELECT @@VERSION against the SQL server and post the results here?
Thanks -
Joe
Here is the output from SELECT @@VERSION on the SQL server.
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (RTM) - 10.0.1600.22 (IntelX86) Jul 9 2008 14:43:34 Copyright (c) 1988-2008Microsoft Corporation Developer Edition on Windows NT 5.2 <X86>(Build 3790: Service Pack 2)
Thanks for your help,
Kent M
Okay, there's the problem - this machine is running the RTM release of SQL 2008, and the ePO installer is (correctly) identifying this and exiting. You'll need to apply the relevant service pack, or use a different SQL server.

Joe
Excellent! That appears to have worked so I'll continue you on from here, hopefully without any further issues lol. Thanks for your help.
Kent M
No problem
