RunNow Task for VSE 8.8 Patch 8 Update does never end


First of all Global Updating is disabled for patches because I want to deploy patches via Client Update Task. That means I usually create an Update Task with just "VirusScan Enterprise 8.8.0" enabled and set schedule to run immediately.

For testing purposes I often execute the RunNow Task manually to force the udpate and that worked fine for all previous patches so far.

For example an older Patch 7 Task...

...or a Patch 8 Task which sometimes does work.

But most of the time Patch 8 will be indeed successfully installed (according to local client logfile) but the ePo Task does never end. The cause is probably because the Task receives a wrong status (just my guess). The following example reports a "started" status instead of a "successful" status. According to client log the installation was finished at 8:57 AM.

Does someone else also see this issue with Patch 8?

Even I found the same but,

Post successful completion of the installation, after few minutes(in my case it took 10 to 12 mins) the task state turned from in progress to complete.
