Rogue System Detection Sensors

My rogue system detection sensors are one one subnet but they seem to be detecting systems on another subnet. I thought they were just supposed to find rogue systems on the same subnet. Is something wrong? thanks for any help you can provide

Hi,

I had one similar case. The problem was bad "DNS records" in system tree... So, check nslookup for that system name and compare IPs...

The sensors will report any traffic it can listen to, so if it is on vpn or moves to another network for any reason, it will report that traffic.  We advise never to install the sensor on a system that goes out of your network, such as a laptop that users take home.

Hi,
