Repository replication fails

Jump to solution

Hi,

I have 20 repositories where just one server fails to replicate. The "Download Credentials" for the failing server is working fine, but the exact same credentials are failing for "Replication Credentials". The share has been configured with the same permissions as all the other servers. Any ideas what may be causing the issue? Or is there somewhere where I can find out in more details why is failing?

Thanks

Hello @Linuxxo

Thanks for your post.

I would recommend you to please check ePOApSvr.log and try to see the error.

By Default Location for Log:

Hi,

Many thanks for your reply, I had a look at all the other logs on the folder, as the replication.log did not give much info apart from the replication failure. I think I may have found something relevant to the issue:

20201204162222 I #11328 SITEMGR Verifying UNC share \\****\eporep$...
20201204162222 I #11328 SITEMGR UNC share \\****\eporep$ is mapped
20201204162222 I #11328 SITEMGR Verifying UNC share relative path \\****\eporep$...
20201204162222 I #11328 SITEMGR Verifying UNC share credential full rights...
20201204162222 I #11328 SITEMGR UNC share credential does not have full rights

The account we use should have full rights on the share, but the issue seems to be down to permissions on the server.

Many thanks for your help, the issue turned out to be a misconfigured shared folder.
