Register epo 5.10 on ePO 5.9.1 for system transfer

Good Morning,

I want to install a fresh ePO 5.10. Because I don't want to migrate the systems hand by hand, I want to use the transfer function. The Problem ist, that I have issues with register the server. I can't establish a database connection.

Maybe the problem is, that I can't choose Version 5.10 from the drop down menu?

Thanks!

I am successfully able to register my ePO 5.10 selecting 5.9 from registered ePO server. If DB connectivity is failing then I would look for failure message.

As HEM pointed out, you should be able to register it.  What errors are in the orion log for the connection failure?  Are there differences in the version of tls that is being used between the epo server and 5.10 sql?

Since you are having trouble connecting to the bank, I recommend that you go to the McAfee website and download the ePO Pre-Install Auditor tool and run this tool as if you would just migrate to identify a bank problem. After you fix the problems try to do the registration.
