Regard to EPO

I want to check if the EPO can recognize the virtual hostname of a cluster machine. Let say there are two physical servers cluster together and there's also have a cluster hostname. After installing McAfee agent on all the cluster members, will EPO also change the state to "managed" for the virtual/cluster hostname?

Re: Regard to EPO

Hi @User95478885,

Good morning,

AFAIK, you would install Application (McAfee agent) on all nodes of cluster and they will report separately to ePO server.

Re: Regard to EPO

@Hem is correct.  The agent will never report the virtual name, as it cannot be installed virtually.  It is a local install, reporting only what that particular OS reports as its host name.
