Re: Reading registry on client machines

MA4.5 can read four CustomProps reg values and report them to ePO - see the MA4.5 product guide and also  KB 67385  which is updated with new info.

(Note that you can set these values manually aswell - the documentation sort of implies that the only way to do it is via the frminst executable, which is not the case.)

Well, so can these CustomProps report content of entire registry branch with all its subkeys. For example all keys from [HKLM]\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

No, that's not possible - they can contain up to a 256 character string (I believe.)

There's a product called SIR (for System Information Reporter) that's coming out later this year that may do what you want - it can collect a variety of information including installed programs.

Re: Reading registry on client machines

I know about this product (SIR), but it can only report values from specific registry key and cannot report list of key (content of registry branch). My goal is to recive name of key which may be diffrent on each machine thus I need to know what is the content of registry brunch.

Regards.
