Query about maintenance tasks and memory process scans

Jump to solution

Hello,

I am following the recommended ePO daily tasks, I have got almost to the end of it and there is the suggestion about "Make sure the Memory Process Scan occurs". I am assuming that this refers to all systems, unfortunately I cannot find any query or reports that may be helping with that. Is there something I am missing or a specific query/report that can be used for that?

Our current ePO version is 5.9.1

Many Thanks

Many customers have a separate memory scan that runs more frequently, but it is entirely up to you how you configure it.  You can also follow the following KB for setting up reports for on demand scans.

Hello @Linuxxo

Thanks for your post.

Could you please let me know whether you are creating any On-Demand Scan Task and following any Article?

It seems you are following the below Doc.

https://docs.mcafee.com/bundle/epolicy-orchestrator-5.10.0-product-guide/page/GUID-E3ABB96C-250D-471...

I would like to request you to please create a On-Demand Scan and from there you will get the option:

I hope this helps.

Hi,

Many thanks for your reply, we already have the on-demand scan setup for the memory. I did follow the recommended daily tasks best practices section, and that's where it recommends to make sure that the memory process scan runs. Perhaps the question now is, how can we confirm that such a task runs on all systems? Can that information be generated as a report?
