Hi There,
I am reading the below article:
[5.x agent does not use non-secure port 80 at all]
https://community.mcafee.com/t5/ePolicy-Orchestrator/McAfee-Agent-5-x-use-of-port-80/td-p/629252
If this is true may i know why port 80 still exists in ePO 5.9/5.10? is it just an un-used port or used as a failback option? - I see we can disable the 443 port in ePO> Server Settings> Ports.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi eg211,
We use Port 80 to pull updates from update.nai.com. Port 443 is a secure port which we use for Agent to Server communication.
