Port 389 AH DMZ

Jump to solution

Hello everyone,

I'm planning to migrate Agent Handler from our corporate network to our DMZ.

I've talked with firewall team and they said that they can't allow communication on port 389 (LDAP) from AH in DMZ to corporate network.

Will not allowing port 389 communication cause any trouble in the flow communication?

Another question is, Can I, instead allowing 389 to our LDAP, allow 389 to ePO server?

Thanks in advance.

They can leave it disabled possibly, but make sure in server settings, user policies, that you enable database mirroring.  It isn't real sql db mirroring, but it caches ldap info so ah's don't have to query the ldap server.
