Performing new ePo installation on Dedicated SQL Server

Dear McAfee,

Can you clarify what DB roles are requried for the Serviceaccount / Windowsaccount during a Fresh ePo (with dedicated SQL) installation?

We plan to use Win Authentication for SQL during epO installation (Not SA). 

In The productguide (see attached) it says that the user account need following role:  "public+dbcreator" , is this enough to start performing the installation..? 

Later it says "This McAfee EPO SQL useraccount is granted the database role permission db_owner" which I find confusing.. Can you clarify this plz?

OK Thanks. Since it is a new installation we will go with dbroles "public+Dbcreator" only

Seems to be a better explenation in the KB so the role db_owner is assigned by the epo installation after it has been created I presume..

when you refer to :
"NOTE: The ePO SQL user is created with the db_owner database role permission on the ePO database."

You can't assign it db_owner yet because the db doesn't exist till you install epo.  The install sets db_owner rights.  The default database for the account needs to be master and as for other rights needed, please review the following KB.
