Packages in Master Repo can no longer be moved or deleted

I am currently facing this problem on two of our ePOs.

Changing branches for hotfixes or trying to delete them results in "failed".

Orion Log will show:
2019-03-20 11:37:14,656 ERROR [http-nio-50012-exec-38] action.RepositoryAction - Unable to delete package Endpoint Security Platform from branch Current, error -1003

2019-03-20 11:39:24,130 ERROR [http-nio-50012-exec-50] action.RepositoryAction - Unable to Move or Copy package ENDP_GS_1060 from branch Current to Previous, error -1003
2019-03-20 11:39:42,898 ERROR [http-nio-50012-exec-43] action.RepositoryAction - Unable to delete package Endpoint Security Platform from branch Previous, error -706

Can´t seem to find any info on the error.

Any hints?

Best regards
Dan

Re: Packages in Master Repo can no longer be moved or deleted

From log snippet, it seems that master repository is locked.

I suggest to restart ePO services and try again.

Re: Packages in Master Repo can no longer be moved or deleted

The services have been restarted once, the whole server twice.

This is happening on two servers.

Still no luck.

Hello,

try to remove all the related packages from Master repository.

I had a similar issue with ENS hotfixes and I had to remove some other products which you can import again after the hotfix is removed.

When did this start?  Does the epoapsvr, server, or orion logs show any related errors?  Do you have a ticket open for this yet?

Re: Packages in Master Repo can no longer be moved or deleted

It was a few months ago. I had a ticket for McAfee support which is closed now.

They helped me to find what specific software must be removed from Master repository and then I was able to remove the hotfixes. If I remember it correctly I had to remove Endpoint Security Exploit Prevention Content. Please try it if you have test environment with the same issue. You can easily add it back. They asked me for some deeper logging. The Orion log was not helpful.

Re: Packages in Master Repo can no longer be moved or deleted

Yes there is a ticket open.

seems like there is a dependancy when moving ENS packages around.

I still am not able to move them but can copy and afterwards delete them.

The errors in the logs are useless and I posted them in the first topic.

Currently waiting for the support to write back.

Yes, there are dependencies.  Extensions show dependencies in the console, but unfortunately, packages do not, which makes it frustrating to figure out.
