Migrate ePO 5.10 between domains

Hello,

I've tried to move an ePO server from one domain to another in the same forest, althoug when so, all the packages(DLP, Virus Scan, Web Control,...) don't load correctly. I'm just moving the ePO server, not the SQL, and between both domains there is trust so it is able to read from the DB independently in which one it is.

Any ideas why this could happen?

Thanks

Hi cdinet,

Changing the DNS name server to the new domain and moving the VM where is located in the hypervisor between the domains.

And all ports are open?  What is the tracert from epo to the sql server?  If it is more than 10ms, that will cause connection issues, latency, etc.  Is there dns resolution between the domains?  What errors do you see in the server log (db\logs where epo is installed)?  Does eventparser service start?

Ports are open yes

the tracert is 1ms

There is a DNS resolution yes.

I'll extract the logs and upload them.

And the eventparser service did start yes

Be careful uploading logs - blank out any sensitive info as they contain hostnames, ip's, etc that you should not post on public forum.

Let me send you my email address
