Migrate Rules From VSE To ePO

Is there any way to do this? We have a lot of custom-written rules to block various ransomware HELP_DECRYPT* files, I2P and TOR traffic, etc....

I've generated an ePO package but it's a .zip file with no .xml files contained therein.

Re: Migrate Rules From VSE To ePO

Please go to "Policy Catalog" in ePO > Choose the correct product from the drop-down list > Locate your custom policy > Click on "Export" link on the right > When you are presented with the download link, please right click on the xml file and save it. You can then import this xml on another ePO server.

Please let me know if this helps.

Re: Migrate Rules From VSE To ePO

What are you asking, exactly?  It sounds like you've hand-written a bunch of rules directly in VSE, and now want to export those rules from VSE and import that into ePO, so you can push them out to a larger number of systems?

I don't believe there's a way to export directly out of VSE in this manner.

Re: Migrate Rules From VSE To ePO

Yes, that's correct.

I went into ePO and recreated all of the rules there.
