question: if three's 1 managed system uninstalled the MSA only, what is the status of the ENS in that system? is it uninstalled too or still in the system ?

Thanks for your response.
Standalone version will download the Amcore file from directly HTTP site , that can be checked in Common Policy.
Standalone will work as it is only difference that will not be able to talk to epo and will not receive the updates from epo.
afaik,Once the agent will get removed from the machine in that case you need to download the agent from download site and need to install on the client machine so that will be able to connect with the http site for getting the amcore.
For scanning part you can configure the task manually, I hope below screenshot will help:

Thanks for your post!
Once the McAfee Agent will get uninstalled from the client machine, In that case ENS will work as a standalone version and once MA will deployed again, It will become managed and start communicating with ePO.

One caveat to that. If you remove the agent, ENS will not be able to update or run any epo scheduled tasks. That requires the agent. So you will need to reinstall an agent.
