We are planning to install Mcafee Epo on our network. Our network has two servers working on windows server 2008 R2 and other 6 machines working on windows 7 SP1. We don't have domain controller on our network. Can we install Mcafee Epo without having domain controller? (our network securtiy is based on workgroup).
A domain is not required to run epo. The main downside to not being on a domain is not having credentials to do push agent installs, as that would require knowing the local administrator account/password. If you have a service account that is configured on each system, that can be used. Instead of putting the domain name in the domain field, you would just use a period ( . ) without the brackets to denote the local system account. See KB56386 for environmental requirements for deploying an agent. If you image your systems with an agent on it, please refer to the McAfee agent product guide for instructions on putting an agent on an image.

hasantahoun,
Yes, you can run it without a domain. You just have to create your own groups.
