I have been tasked to configure a new epo4.5 environment for our company. We are a global company and have our main site in US and three remote sites, Brazil, Aberdeen and Singapore. Each locations is connected back using MPLS connectivity. Connection speed for each remote site back to the main site is a 10Meg connection. Each remote site has about 300 nodes for a total of 1200 to 1500 nodes any given time.
We would like to have central management for all clients but have the agents communicate to the agent handlers for updates and communication for each site. We are considering this architecture for our environment.
1. Single ePO 4.5 Server in US
2. Single SQL DB Server in US
3. Single Agent Handler at each remote site communicating to the ePO server in the US
4. Single Distributed Repositories at each remote site obtaining its updates from the ePO server in the US.
Also we would like the remote admin's at each remote site accessibility into the US ePO console but only have access to there systems.
I am new to McAfee and trying to get any info or white docs pertaining to this deployment.
