McAfee ePO Version 5.10 - client not showing up in console.

Jump to solution

Hello, I have synchronised EPO with AD and the system tree now shows AD.
However, one client does not show up in EPO. I have tried to re-add the OU using the new systems tab but it comes back with the error in the attached.
Any ideas?Screen Shot 2020-09-11 at 08.20.30.pngScreen Shot 2020-09-11 at 08.25.43.png

Hello @DaveSmith999

Thanks for your post.

Please make sure that your ePO version is on the latest CU Update.

Also if this is one machine, Can you create a Framepkg.exe and install the Agent on the client machine to see whether the machine is coming up as managed in ePO.

Create an installation package:

  1. Click Menu | Systems | System Tree, click System Tree Actions, then select New Systems from the drop-down menu.
  2. Select Create and download agent installation package.
  3. Select the Agent version for Windows.
  4. Deselect Embed Credentials in Package.
NOTE: If deselected, you receive the default package. If selected, you can specify required credentials.
  5. Click OK. The Download file dialog box opens.
  6. Select FramePkg.exe and save it to the temporary folder.

Many thanks for the info.

Useful info for future reference for sure.

The client appeared when I selected 'systems' in the menu rather that 'group detail'

Many thanks
