McAfee ePO 5.10 vs. Kiwi Syslog Server 9.7.2

Jump to solution

Comrades,

in the "McAfee ePO" "Kiwi Syslog Server" configured in this way:
- Configuration;
- Registered Server;
- New Server;
- Server type : Syslog Server;
- Name : 1.2.3.4;
- Server name : 1.2.3.4;
- TCP port number : 6514;
- Enable event forwarding : Yes.

After pressing "Test connection" in the "McAfee ePO Registered Server Builder" "Kiwi Syslog Server" is able to receive just the only first test message. No more messages from "McAfee ePO" are received.
In the log of the "Kiwi Syslog Server" an error appears:
"TLS error 282: Can't find client certificate (connection 1 error 0x8009030e)."

In "McAfee ePO" were not able to find TLS certificate configuration for Events forwarding.

Need to mention, that this issue concerns only and exclusively "McAfee ePO", as "Kiwi Syslog Server" receives messages via TCP:6514 from any other sources without any problems at all.

The OS is MS Windows Server 2019 Standard.

Kindly asking to clarify, how exactly "McAfee ePO" should be configured?

EPO doesn't support mutual authentication (no cert needed on epo side of things).  Please look at the following kb and ensure the tls requirements are all met.

Kindly asking to clarify, when the support of the MTLS will be implemented?
Is there any ETA?
