Hello

Can you install the MSME software on a server with no Exchange software on and use that server as an gateway for your mail traffic?

Like: internet => MSME server (no Exchange software) => Exchange server 1 => Exchange server 2...

I know Groupshield had something like an Groupshield for SMTP.

Hi pieterjanolv, as far as I know MSME needs the Exchange Transport service to work so you cannot install the software without an Exchange.

As per the other software you're talking about the WebShield SMTP, discontinued about 6 years ago, and worked as a relay. Unfortunately there's no replacement for it
