New install or upgrade? Signed in with an admin ID? Are you able to push from ePO without issue. Is it only the one device with an issue? Have you tried a newer Agent (5.6.3,5.6.4,5.6.5)?

Hello @User16096767

Thanks for your post.

Could you please check whether you are able to access that registry path or not?

Please try to disable the AV if any available on the machine.

What account you have used for login Domain Admin Account?

Have you ever tried running the EPR tool?

Try to reboot the machine and check.

You can also check the FrmInst and msi log and also check mfemactl.log for any third party dll.

Please check the below KB article, This is not the exact same error which you are facing but worth checking:

I am an administrator and don't have access to ePolicy Orchestrator \application plugins.

server doesn't have ENS or VSE. It had Mcafee agent. Older version.

Hello @User16096767

Thanks for your response.

You are using Framepkg.exe to install the McAfee Agent?

Please try to run as administrator and you can also try to use switch force install from command prompt.

Do let us know how it goes

Have you tried looking the logs ?

If you open regedit as administrator, can you access the key?  Not logged in as admin, but "run as administrator" even if logged in as admin.
