Managed computers disappear from EPO

Jump to solution
Hello, By mistake, all workstations have been deleted from our EPO console and now we have some issues. After AD synchronization, over 10% of our workstations are not managed in EPO. If we force the agent to communicate, the computername is displayed twice for a short period of time: the unmanaged object and the managed one (which disappears after a few seconds). Same situation if we reinstall the agent (for a few seconds we have 2 lines for the same computername: managed and unmanaged, but in the end, the managed one disappears). Can you help us, please? Than you!

If these are systems connecting via vpn, check KB52949.  The vendor mac ID can be added in server settings if you are running epo 5.10. That is the most common cause for systems disappearing from system tree (duplicate mac causes same leafnode entry to be overwritten by new system that comes in with same mac).
