I have some general ones that work for all the basic stuff, but I need to create one that will send an email when a specific User Defined rule is triggered. Help appreciated.!
Hello @User27605043
Thanks for your post.
You can create a new Automatic Response and in Filter search for Source User Name/Target User Name

Sorry, I guess you missed my issue. The problem is "User defined Rule"
For example, in my ePO policies I have a rule in ENS and VSE to block the creation and execution of the bomgar exe Jump client.
Testing the rule functions and the Access protection log generates this in that log.
"User-defined Rules:1 bomgar Block of Jump Client Action blocked : Create"
Now I need to create a Automatic Response that is triggered for this, so we can know when someone attempts to install this client.
From Access protection log, please make a note of Event ID for Access protection or can verify from Threat event log page. Create an Automatic response. Under filter, you can add the threat event id and threat name. You can also customize from available filter. Under Action tab, please select 'send email'.
Hello @User27605043
Thanks for your response.
You can refer the below KB article which will help you to create the Automatic Response.

If ENS/VSE might be the Event ID would be 1092 or 1095 and that can be checked from the Threat Event Log or from the System Tree >Threat Events.

Opened a ticket and found that there is no good answer to this. She suggested I open an enhancement request. Event 1092 is traditionally unchecked as it throws thousands of events a day from all of our machines.
Being able to create an alert to detect when a specific User created rule is activated should be a nobrainer.
Thanks for your help.
Hi,
Good morning,
Glad that your issue is resolved. By default, we have two filters in Automatic response 1- source user name and 2- Target user name which we could use.
