Is it Possibility to move the client to different group on ePO from the client end?

Hello All,

we know there is multiple options to move the clients from ePO console to different custom group on ePO console; such as using IP sorting or Tagging functionality.

But is it possible to move the client( where McAfee agent and ENS is installed) locally itself to different group, rather then from ePO console?

Looking for some assistance and guidance here;

Commands or VIA API ;

1. check locally to which group the client is registered on ePO?

2. Move the client locally to different group?

You can use ePO API - https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=PD24810
You can use API commands like:
system.find searchText [searchNameOnly] - Finds systems in the System Tree
system.move names parentGroupId [autoSort] - Moves systems to the specified
destination group.
system.resort names - Resorts the systems in the System Tree

But without using API, it is impossible to move system from a client side.
