Insufficient write permissions for Endpoint Security Platform

Jump to solution

We have EpO 5.9 and I loaded the latest Endpoint Migration Assistant.

When I open the Assistant we get this error:

"Insufficient write permissions for Endpoint Security Platform"

Yes - the user is an admin. Database issue comes to mind first, though everything else is operational to this point.

Please advise.

Thanks

It turned out that it needed the software downloaded into EpO before it would run.

No other changes were done.
Once the software was checked in, the app ran just fine.

global admin or group admin - just clarifying?  That error points to epo permission set issues.  What does audit log show for that?

"User is an administrator."

When setting a user to Group Admin - they get even more errors.

I've tried different account with changes to the settings too.

Nothing in the Audit Log.

An SR is open  with some details - 4-19138994231

Hi - it's a known issue. The database needs to be tweaked.
I'm being transferred to the DB team for assistance.

I'll update with specifics soon.
