Installing ePO agent 4.6

Jump to solution

Here is a question, I'm using ePO server 4.5 and deploying agent 4.0.0.1494.  Would it be possible to load agent 4.6 to the master repository and deploy it to only a select few machines while keeping the 4.0 agent on the rest?

I'm thinking not, and also thinking this is an odd question since why would I not just deploy it to all connecting machines in ePO.  Reason is I'm troubleshooting a McShield service terminating problem on a few machines and McAfee has suggesting I update the agent.

Thanks.

By default only current branch will be enabled.

Please enable other branches from the ePO server (Menu=>Configuration=>server settings=>Repository packages=>Edit=>Allow package check-in for any repository branch).

Yes, it's possible.

Please check in MA 4.6 into Evaluation branch of the master repository and 4.0 in current branch.
